Tender Details
As development is now occurring and trunk utility servicing is progressing, Council is seeking to expedite the delivery of public infrastructure such as stormwater management facilities to support the planned urban growth. To facilitate the infrastructure delivery, Blacktown City Council (Council) is calling tenders for the services of suitably qualified and experienced consultants to deliver the detailed Investigation and Design Documentation in a cost effective and timely manner. Where significant improvements can be made to the gazetted precinct layout and infrastructure design concepts, preparation of planning proposals to facilitate spot rezoning of land may also be required.
The stormwater management infrastructure to be delivered will generally include:
Detention Basins;
Rain Gardens/ Bio-retention systems;.
Gross Pollutant Traps;
Open Vegetated Channels and riparian corridors;
Culvert crossings;
Piped Trunk Drainage systems;
The stormwater management design will need to be coordinated with adjoining road, open space reserve and urban development designs.
The extent of Package H is shown on Figure 1 and comprises a detention basin west of First Ponds Creek on the eastern side of Junction Road (opposite Advance Street) and the modelling of the downstream drainage/floodway to Railway Terrace, Schofields in the Riverstone precinct.
