This RFT is for Contract No. 20 / 2014 – Security Upgrade to Council's Works Depotsfor Blacktown City Council. This is a Lump Sum contract not subject to rise and fall in costs.
The Tendering companies must hold the relevant Master Security Licence in accordance with the Security Industry Act 1997.
All security personnel used by the Tenderer under this contract must hold a security licence relevant to the activities being performed, in accordance with the Security Industry Act 1997.
Installers of security hardware may need to be accredited to install certain hardware and will need to show evidence of that accreditation.
Blacktown City Council (BCC) is upgrading security infrastructure at the following BCC sites;
· Rooty Hill Depot - Station St Rooty Hill
· Nurragingy Depot - Knox Rd Doonside
· Riverstone Depot - Church St Riverstone
This document outlines the requirements for the supply and installation of nominated services in relation to the upgrades. These include;
· Access Control and Intruder Detection
· CCTV and Remote Video Verification Monitoring
· Motorised Gates and Intercoms
· Electric Fence
· Key Management System and vehicle immobilisers
· RFID Asset Tracking System
The full extent of the works and services awarded under this contract will be subject to available funding and the tendered prices submitted.
Council reserves the right to award any part or all parts, or any depot or all depots, to one or more tenderers. Therefore Tenderers may tender for any or all of the above services but must include all items within each service.
All costs associated with the works within each depot tendered must be included in the tender submission. All lump sum costs are to include GST. All unit rates are to exclude GST.
The requested information must be submitted with the tender and the tender documents must not be altered in any way.

Tenderers are encouraged to attend the pre-tender briefing meeting and site inspection.

Estimated Timeframe for Delivery
It is anticipated that the award for this contract will be after the Ordinary Meeting of Council to be held on 27 August 2014.
