Tender Details
This tender is for Contract No. 7 / 2015 – Inspection, Testing and Maintenance of Fire Detection and Protection Systems for Blacktown City Council with the method of payment being Schedule of Rates, subject to Rise and Fall in costs after a specified period has elapsed (refer to Clause 11 of the General Conditions of Contract).
Blacktown City Council owns a wide range of building assets including but not limited to multistorey office buildings (Civic Centre), Community Halls, Youth Centres, Libraries, Aquatic Centres, Senior Citizen Centres, the Art Centre, Multi-deck Car Parks, works depots, Park and Sporting facilities, RFS, Child Care Centres and Health Clinics.
Council currently maintains 137 buildings with fire protection systems, a list of these is provided in Appendix 1: Fire safety equipment inventory listing and in the Tender Submission Documents indicating the type of facilities and extent of services required during the term of the contract.
Council wishes to engage a suitably qualified contractor to provide relevant periodic services to inspect, test, carry out regulatory maintenance,corrective and reactive maintenance of fire protection systems and equipment as per the legislative requirements, relevant Australian Standards and provide Council the reports, records of the services carried out and certification of essential fire services within each nominated building facility.
All tendered rates shall be exclusive of GST.
Council reserves the right to award the contract to one (1) tenderer or several tenderers.
