Tender Details

Blue Mountains City Council is seeking the services of a suitably qualified consultant to undertake the investigation, design and documentation to plan for the necessary renewal and repair work to the bridge structure, pavement and associated assets and make safe.  The bridge is located on the road reserve, Megalong Road, LOT 7007, DP 1126704, MapInfo Layer Easting: 247,508m, Northing 6,274,079m.

The works include all necessary design for renewal works of culvert, bridge approaches and associated assets identified as part of bridge inspection regimes.

The works are in three separable portions being Stage 1, 2 and 3.  Stage 1 is the completion of an options feasibility report, Stage 2 – completion of detailed design for the preferred options, and Stage 3 is for advice and other professional support activities during the construction phase.  Council reserves the right to only proceed with Stage 1 or Stages 1 and 2, or Stages 1, 2 and 3.

Conditions for Participation

The Conditions for Participation are mandatory requirements, which describe minimum standards that suppliers must meet for their submissions to be considered. If Quoters do not meet the Conditions of Participation, they will be excluded from the quote evaluation process.

The Conditions for Participation are:

·          The Quoter must be an acceptable legal entity. It is Council’s policy not to trade with any organisation that does not hold a registered ABN;

·          The Quoter and subcontractors must not be bankrupt or insolvent;

·          The Quoter shall declare and provide details of any occurrence, within 5 years prior to submitting a Quote, where the Quoter has been found guilty of breaching any Act or Regulation.

·          The Quoter must have the minimum level of insurance cover specified in this RFQ; and

All Quoters must comply with the New South Wales Government Code of Procurement.
