WSROC / CONSTRUCTION & RESTORATION OF SEGMENTAL PAVING - C9/2010

The works under this contract include:

·         New construction of segmental paving for:

o    Footways using Council nominated pavers e.g. standard 65mm thick clay pavers or 40mm thick Basalt or Granite pavers.

o    Traffic devices on roadways (wombat crossings and raised thresholds) using Council nominated standard 80mm thick concrete pavers.

·         Restoration of existing segmental paving on footways ranging from a single paver to large failed areas.

The contract is divided into four (4) sections, namely:

SECTION A – Concrete Pavers

SECTION B – Clay Pavers

SECTION C -  Basalt & Granite Pavers

SECTION D – Concrete Works

Council may award the above sections either as a single package to one or several tenderers or each section separately to one or several tenderers.

There is a wide variety of segmental paving types within the Blacktown Council area and it is Council’s intention for tenderers to submit rates that will apply to the standard, or similar paving types. All works will be within the Blacktown City Council area.
