WSROC / Construction of Auburn Golf Course Stormwater Harvesting Project - T-2011-013

Council is calling for a suitable qualified Contractor to undertake the construction of the Auburn Golf Course Stormwater Harvesting Project, corner of Chisholm Road and Weymouth Ave, Auburn.  The project involves extraction of stormwater from 2 existing Gross Pollutant Traps (GPTs) and treating and storing the water into ponds and existing tanks to use for the irrigation of the Golf Course.

The proposed works are located within the golf course, which will remain in use during construction.

The major works being undertaken include:

• Construction of two ponds, including landscaping, pathways and tee relocation,
• Install pumps in the existing GPTs to extract stormwater,  to transfer recycled water between the ponds and tanks and for irrigation with associated pipework and controls,
• Construction of ponds including earthworks, liners, rock edges and Landscaping,
• Filters, pumps and UV treatment for the stormwater and all associated pipework,
• Electrical connection and controls for all equipment,
• Training and commissioning including the provision of as built documentation, and
• Maintenance during the defects liability period.
