Tender Details

This tender is for Contract No. 10/2015 – Turfing, Field Renovations & Mulching for Blacktown City Council with the method of payment being Schedule of Rates, subject to Rise and Fall in costs after a specified period has elapsed (refer to Special Conditions Clause SC2).

This contract consists of following parts:

PART A: Supply, Lay and Establish Turf

PART B: Field Renovations – Supply, Deliver and Apply Fertilisers, Pesticides and Oversowing

PART C: Field Renovations – Aeration, Rotary Hoeing, Stripping, Cultivation and Laser Levelling

PART D: Field Renovations – Top Dressing

PART E: Supply, Deliver and Install Mulching

PART F: Consultancy and Testing Services

All the parts or combinations of several parts of the contract will be awarded to a single contractor or a panel of several contractors. The superintendent will distribute the works, either as a single project or several projects, in a manner best suited to the interests of Council. There can be no guarantee that all the contractors in the panel will receive equal share of work.

The following will be taken into consideration when distributing the work:

• Contractor’s rates

• Contractors resources

• Competency of the contractor

• Contractor’s current commitments

• Availability of the contractor

Tenderers shall confirm receipt of Addenda as per page 36 of the Tender Submission Documents.

Conditions for Participation

Tenders may be submitted either by use of electronic means via the website, https://tenders.nsw.gov.au/wsroc/

by hardcopy form in a sealed envelope and placed in the tender box located on the ground floor of Blacktown City Council Civic Centre, 62 Flushcombe Road, Blacktown.

All methods of submitting tenders shall be received before the closing time and date for tenders as indicated in the advertisement and stated on the front cover of these tender documents.

The submission of tenders by email or facsimile shall not be accepted by Council.
