Tender Details

Supply and Installation of Irrigation Control System at multiple playing fields within Blue Mountains City Council Area.

All Council’s sports field irrigation systems currently work and are controlled independently on site.  They come on regardless of whether the soil requires watering. This means that to adjust the water use to respond to the weather is impractical.

This project is aimed at making the current system more water efficient and easier for Park Staff to manage.

The proposed system allows the irrigation to be controlled from the office and makes responses more efficient.

The proposed system also has weather stations which can direct the irrigation system watering to operate only when it is needed.

The system can also notify staff of any leaks that develop.
