Tender Details

This tender is for Contract No. 9 / 2013 – Construction of High Voltage and Low Voltage Electrical Works for Industrial Subdivision at Cox Place Glendenning for Blacktown City Council with the method of payment being Lump Sum, not subject to Rise and Fall in costs.

Tenderers must be currently accredited on the Department of Trade and Investment Resources and Energy with Level 1 capabilities.

The works involve the construction of Low Voltage, Street Lighting and High Voltage works in accordance with the approved Electrical Drawings, for a 16 lot industrial subdivision in Cox Place Glendenning.

Refer to the Drawings for the location and extent of the works.

The removal of power pole 6 in Cox Place and the construction of the low voltage and street lighting works are to be carried out liaising with the earthworks and road formation contractor. The construction of the high voltage works may be carried out in association with the low voltage and street lighting works but cannot be connected to the grid until late 2013 or early 2014, unless otherwise advised. Therefore the Contractor will need to submit the payment schedule for these works together with a construction program.

Open Tenders - An invitation to tender by public advertisement with no restriction placed on who may tender. Tenderers will normally be required to demonstrate in their tender that they have the necessary skills, resources, experience, financial capacity, and in some cases licences, accreditations, etc., to fulfil the tender requirements.

Additional Details / Instructions

Tenderers may conduct site inspections on their own behalf. Currently no work has commenced on the earthworks and road formation.

The Tenderer must familiarise itself with the Works and the Site prior to submission of its tender. The Principal shall not accept any variation due to omissions as a result of the tenderer failing to visit the site.

Tenders may be submitted either by use of electronic means via the website, https://tenders.nsw.gov.au/wsroc/ or by hardcopy form in a sealed envelope and placed in the tender box located on the ground floor of Blacktown City Council Civic Centre, 62 Flushcombe Road, Blacktown.
