Tender Details

This tender is for Contract No. 19/2016 – Residential Subdivision at Hambledon and Schofields Road Schofields (LP172) for Blacktown City Council with the method of payment being Lump Sum notsubject to Rise and Fall in costs.

The work under this contract is Land Project 172 (LP172) and is situated at the corner of Hambledon Road and Schofields Road , Schofields. The works will deliver a subdivision comprising 74 residential lots and 1 residue lot. The site is currently described as 116 Hambledon Road and 70-74 Schofields Road Schofields.

The works will include:

• Clearing and grubbing,

• earthworks,

• roadwork,

• Retaining wall construction

• stormwater drainage,

• sewer and water reticulation by appropriately accredited Sydney Water major works contractor,

• electrical works including a substation installed by Level1 accredited contractor and

• NBN pit & pipe installation by accredited contractor.

• Gas reticulation by Jemena using an appropriately accredited constructor

The tendered lump sum price shall be inclusive of GST.

Provisional items shall be exclusive of GST.

Blacktown City Council invites tenders from suitably qualified and experienced civil contractors together with accredited, top performing and experienced utility subcontractors.

Council is not bound to accept any or the lowest tender.

The submission of tenders by email and facsimile shall not be accepted by Council.

Address for Lodgement

Tenders may be submitted either by • use of electronic means via the website, https://tenders.nsw.gov.au/wsroc/ , or • hardcopy form in a sealed envelope and placed in the tender box located on the ground floor of Blacktown City Council Civic Centre, 62 Flushcombe Road, Blacktown. All methods of submitting tenders shall be received before the closing time and date for tenders as indicated in the advertisement and stated on the front cover of these tender documents.

Conditions for Participation

The civil contractor is to be the head contractor and the Principal Contractor under WHS Act 2011.
