WSROC / EXPRESSION OF INTEREST FOR THE SUPPLY OF MECHANICAL SPARE PARTS - C6/2013

This Expression of Interest is for Contract No. 6 / 2013 – Supply of Mechanical Spare Parts for Blacktown City Council.

Blacktown City Council operates over 300 heavy and light commercial vehicles including; Hino, Mitsubishi, Isuzu, Toyota and Ford. These vehicles range in size and configuration between 3.0 and 26 ton GVM side and rear Garbage trucks, tippers, flat trucks and utilities.

Council’s mechanical workshop located at Council’s depot at Station Road, Rooty Hill carries out repairs and servicing of this fleet of commercial vehicles, for which spare parts are required.

Expressions of Interest are sought from reputable spare parts companies experienced in the supply and delivery of mechanical spare parts for fleets of commercial vehicles

The EOI is the first stage of a two-stage process.  Following the close of the EOI the Principal may proceed to the calling of a Selective Request for Tender (RFT).  The issuing of an EOI does not commit the Principal to proceeding with an RFT.

Eligibility to participate in the RFT will be restricted to those providers who comply with the provisions of this EOI, satisfy the selection criteria and who are short-listed by Council to be invited to submit an RFT. It is envisaged that up to five (5) respondents may be invited to tender, with a possible three (3) tenderers awarded the contract to supply spare parts to Council.
