Tender Details
Council is calling for a suitable qualified Contractor to construct the Auburn Town Centre Streetscape Upgrade.
The major works being undertaken include:
- Demolition and disposal of existing footways, partial road pavement, trees, street furniture, outdoor dining structures, kerb & gutters and street lighting,
- Mill and resheet existing road surface and construct new blisters and traffic islands,
- Reconstruction of kerb and gutter sections, road pavement, footpaths and kerb ramps,
- Supply and Installation of Multi-function poles including electrical supply and distribution,
- Supply and installation of new traffic signals and all associated equipment,
- Supply and installation of street furniture, which includes bins, seats, picnic settings, play equipment and planter boxes,
- Supply and installation of new outdoor dining areas with shade structures,
- Stormwater sections replacement under proposed footpath widening and construction of new pipe sections, gully pits and manholes,
- Landscaping work including tree pits, tree and shrub supply and planting and subsoil drainage,
- Linemarking and supply & installation of traffic and parking signage, and
- Preparation of As Built documentation.
