Council is calling for responses from suitably experienced and qualified Contractors for the supply of licensed facility where excavation material and concrete originated from construction and maintenance of Auburn City Council’s roads can be disposed legally.
Councils historical annual expenditure on the material has been Excavated Material - $75,000.00 per annum, Excavated Concrete - $25,000.00 per annum.
The Facility is required to be located within a reasonable distance so as to minimise travel time for Councils vehicles and is required to accept - Road sub-grade material, mainly clay, Base course material which will mainly include road base, sandstone and shale, Concrete reinforced and unreinforced from removal of kerb and gutter, footpaths, driveways, drainage structures and concrete pipes.
The Contract term will be Two (2) Years from the date of the Letter of Acceptance, There will be an additional Two (2) One (1) Year extensions which may be exercised at the Councils discretion.
