WSROC / Supply and Installation of Lidcombe Oval Scoreboard - Q-2015-010

Auburn City Council's Lidcombe Oval is located within the Wyatt Park Sporting Complex and was opened in 1933. It is one of Sydney’s iconic suburban sportsgrounds. The Oval has been used for various sports since the 30s most noticeably cycling and rugby league. The Oval was home of the Western Suburb Magpies in the NSWRL between 1967 and 1989.

 

Auburn City Council wishes to install a new electronic scoreboard at Lidcombe Oval to service the needs of local user groups. Therefore Council is seeking the services of a suitably qualified professional contractor that has the necessary skills, expertise, equipment and resources to undertake the task. The installation of the electronic scoreboard will be facilitated by minor structural works and the removal of the existing clock and manually operated scoreboards.
