Tender Details
This tender is to procure Program Director services for the BCC’s Transformational Projects Program. A consultant will be selected on their ability to provide services in an innovative and professional manner across a variety of project types and value and with demonstrated ability to deliver design excellence.
The Program Director will lead the delivery of the projects meeting all timeline, budget and design quality objectives.
The initial period of the contract will be for 2 years with an option in favour of Council for 2 x 1 year extensions subject to satisfactory performance, and Council requirements.
The existing projects include but are not limited to work in the following areas:
- Construction and capital expenditure;
- Planning and design;
- Facilitation including the negotiation and agreement of terms between BCC and external parties for a future project; and/or,
- Advocacy and issues management to resolve impediments to projects.
The current Program includes:
- Blacktown International Sports Park Masterplan;
- Centre of Sporting Excellence, BISP;
- Warrick Lane;
- University Campus;
- Health Precinct;
- Council Offices;
- Riverstone Town Centre;
- Animal Holding facility; and,
- St Bartholomew’s Cemetery.
Over time, Council may identify other projects it wishes to add to the program.
