Tender Details
This tender is for Contract No. 5 / 2016 – Grinding of concrete pathways for Blacktown City Council with the method of payment being Schedule of Rates, subject to Rise and Fall in costs after a specified period has elapsed (refer to Special Conditions Clause SC2).
The works under this contract will generally include the grinding of trip hazards between 7mm and 35mm on concrete pathways using a dry grinding method with dust collection/prevention.
Work will normally be allocated by requesting the contractor to locate and carry out all grinding of trip hazards within any suburb of Blacktown City Council and report to council each week.
Other grinding work may be allocated at any particular location as a separate request.
All tendered rates shall be exclusive of GST.
Council reserves the right to award the contract to one (1) tenderer or several tenderers.

Tenders may be submitted either by use of electronic means via the website, https://tenders.nsw.gov.au/wsroc/ or by hardcopy form in a sealed envelope and placed in the tender box located on the ground floor of Blacktown City Council Civic Centre, 62 Flushcombe Road, Blacktown.
Estimated Timeframe for Delivery
Upon completion of the assessment of tenders a report to the next available Ordinary Meeting of Council will recommend the preferred tender/s offering the best value for money to Council.
Council will notify all tenderers in writing after the Ordinary Meeting of Council.
