This contract seeks to engage a project director to manage the planning and delivery of the Council’s Accommodation Strategy.
The project director will provide details and documentation that will determine the budget and proposed program to achieve the Council’s Accommodation Strategy.
The project director will be responsible for coordinating and managing the resources and details outlined.
The role of Director is expected to require input of 15 to 20 hours per week. However this may vary depending on the type and function of tasks being attended to.

Council’s Civic Centre is at capacity with the need for increased office space becoming critical. Staff numbers are projected to increase by 40 in the current financial year, and a further 20 the following year. Adding to the demand for office space is the need to address overly restrictive work areas within some business units.
Council has determined as a long term goal to jointly occupy a new commercial office with a university within the Blacktown CBD.
We have a need to implement an accommodation program that will:
• cater for the short-term growth needs
• address space shortages within the Civic Centre
• facilitate initial planning to define the future workplace environment for Council’s office staff.
Suppliers will be selected with the proven competencies and experience
