Operation and Management of Blue Mountains Tourist Parks.

The Council operates the Blue Mountains Tourist Parks as commercial business activity.  The Parks are located on Katoomba Falls Road, Katoomba and Prince Edward Street, Blackheath in the world heritage listed Blue Mountains of New South Wales.

The Council is seeking offers from suitably skilled and experienced entities that can operate and manage its Tourist Parks with vision and an entrepreneurial spirit in order to turn it into a truly viable commercial business venture, maximise its growth potential and optimise its return and value to the community.

The scope of work under the resultant contract will include, but not be limited to, supply of professional skilled management staff with relevant experience in the hospitality/tourism industries to manage, supervise, and operate the Council’s Tourist Parks efficiently and effectively to maximise patronage, site usage and customer satisfaction, in line with detailed budget allocations and business plan objectives.

The Conditions for Participation are:

The Tenderer must be an acceptable legal entity. It is Council’s policy not to trade with any organisation that does not hold a registered ABN.

The Tenderer and subcontractors must not be bankrupt or insolvent.

The Tenderer shall declare and provide details of any occurrence, within 5 years prior to submitting a Tender, where the Tenderer has been found guilty of breaching any Act or Regulation. Such Acts include, without limitation:
