Tender Details

Council is requesting tenders from suitably qualified and experienced consultants to undertake the investigation, design, documentation and construction of the Water Play Park for the Blacktown Showground site. The design is to be guided by the DA approved master plan to ensure the final layout fits seamlessly within the overall design theme throughout the park. The successful applicant will be required to work with the playground designer (Yet to be appointed) to bring together the central Play Precinct in a collaborative and integrated play space.

The Water Play Park is centrally located within the Blacktown Showground site and forms part of the formal Play Precinct. The Water Play Park is situated with the main Promenade and Cafe building to the south, a landscaped zone, proposed Plant Room and car park to the west, the Toddler/ Junior Playground to the north and the Senior and Low Water-Use playgrounds to the east. The terrain through this area slopes from the main promenade down to the creek line.

The successful Consultant will be developing and documenting the detailed design of the Water Play plant and equipment for approval and the construction of the park.
