Tender Details

Consultancy Services for the Development of Asset Management Plans for the Blue Mountains Cultural Centre, Blue Mountains Theatre and Community Hub and Braemar House.

The Blue Mountains Cultural Centre and the Blue Mountains Theatre and Community Hub are both recently constructed iconic buildings, each has a high public profile and will require Asset Management Plans (AMP) that focus on aesthetics as well as functionality. Both facilities run large, advertised events requiring significant investment of staff time and capital, as a result unplanned downtime has a greater impact on the programs for these facilities. Ad hoc or spot repairs to damaged or worn surfaces and equipment are less appropriate in operating facilities of this type as a result more frequent refurbishment of “front of house” areas may be more appropriate.
