Tender Details
Council is seeking an experienced Construction Contractor to undertake the supply and installation of a wash bay roof at BMCC’s Katoomba depot.
Council has received direction from Sydney Water that the existing wash bay area is required to be covered with a roof with a 10 degree overhang to limit the amount of stormwater being captured in the present separator pit. The separator pit is used to catch runoff water where council staff to wash down their vehicles with truck cleaning liquids, however too much natural stormwater is being captured and should be directed into the existing stormwater drainage system.
The works involve additions to existing power already on site. This includes supply and installation of LED light fittings to roof bracing and electrical mains taken to the nearest switchboard.
The works are subject to a DA/CC approval.
