Tender Details

 

Council is calling for responses from suitably experienced and qualified Contractors for the supply and operation of a rubber tyred excavator to undertake the following work.

 

·                Excavate in all types of materials and load trucks for removal.

 

·                Excavate in rippable fractured shale or sandstone when required.

 

·                Lift and load on trucks for removal broken sections of concrete kerb and gutter and other concrete slabs as directed.

 

·                Lift and load on trucks broken sections of asphalt and road base material.

 

·                Lift materials from stockpiles, transport a short distance and tip into trenches, excavations or as directed on site, including hot asphalt and wet concrete.

 

 

 

Council’s historical expenditure on this contract is approximately $75,000 per annum.

 

The Contract term will be Two (2) Years from the date of the Letter of Acceptance, There will be an additional Two (2) One (1) Year extensions which may be exercised at the Councils discretion.
