WSROC / Wyatt Park Stormwater Channel Weed Control and Revegetation - Q-2012-030

Auburn City Council invites Quotations from suitably qualified contractors for a Weed Control and Re-vegetation project at Wyatt Park Stormwater Channel.

 

Wyatt Park is located on the corner of Church Street and Olympic Drive Lidcombe.

The Ruth Everuss Aquatic Centre, Lidcombe Oval and Velodrome are located within Wyatt Park.

A concrete stormwater channel runs the length of the park dissecting it in two. Previous tree planting works have been undertaken along the adjoining land at the northern end of the channel, however the southern end of the channel is severely weed infested with a wide range of species, including species listed on Auburn council’s noxious weed list. The aim of these works is to treat and remove the weeds and revegetate the area with native tree species.
