WSROC / Supply of 6 state-of-the-art side loading waste compaction vehicles - C1/2016

This tender is for Contract No. 1 / 2016 – Supply of Six (6) State-Of-The-Art Side Loading Waste Compaction Vehicles for Blacktown City Council with the method of payment being Lump Sum not subject to Rise and Fall.

The supply of the Goods is to include:

·         Delivery and registration

·         Supply of documentation

·         Commissioning

·         Product support

For the purposes of this contract “state-of-the-art” refers to the incorporation of the newest ideas and features available in the waste collection industry for:

·         Enhanced driver and operational safety

·         Maximised fuel efficiency

·         Reduced running costs associated with tyres, brakes, high moving components, rust, electrical and hydraulics

Following the purchase of this vehicle, Council will monitor its performance and may call tenders for the replacement of up to five side loading waste compaction vehicles with state-of-the-art vehicles after a suitable evaluation period.

The Goods are to meet the operational, safety and finish requirements detailed at clauses 2, 3 and 4 of the Specification.

Tenderers must tender lump sum prices for the waste compaction vehicle, the workshop maintenance manual and the spare parts manual.

Tenderers must also tender lump sum prices, for the cabin and for the body, for alternative colours to white in accordance with Council’s finish requirements at the time of ordering if an additional charge is applicable.

All tendered lump sum prices shall be exclusive of GST.

Council has included a new policy to provide incentives for local suppliers. Evaluation of prices offer suppliers a discount on their pricing of 5% if located within the  Blacktown City Council area and 2.5% for suppliers within the Western Sydney Regional Councils area up to a maximum $25,000 off their prices.
