Tender Details

The scope of work under this contract is to undertake a survey and condition assessment of Council’s road reserve assets as follows:

• Visual survey of road sections, footpaths and cycleways including provision of video records

• Condition assessment of road pavements

• Survey of pavement roughness and provision of data

• Survey of rutting on flexible pavements and provision of data

• Condition assessment of footpaths and cycleways

• Reporting conditions of road pavements, footpaths and cycleways

• Provision of data in a format suitable to import onto Council’s PMS (ASSETIC or Technology 1 EMS) and SHP file

The contract consists of two parts:

• Part A – Road pavements

• Part B – Footpaths and Cycleways

Council manages approximately 1365km of regional and local roads (sealed) within its LGA. Council will decide to carry out the condition survey of the whole road network or part of the network depending on the availability of funds within a financial year.
