Tender Details

This tender is for Contract No. 21 / 2012 –Supply of Mechanical Spare Parts For Commercial Veicles to Blacktown City Council with the method of payment being Schedule of Prices, subject to price adjustment after a period of twelve (12) months has elapsed.

The supply of mechanical spare parts for commercial vehicles must comply with the relevant and current standards including price,quality, delivery to Blacktown City Council’s Depot located at Station Street, Rooty Hill NSW 2766.

Blacktown City Council operates a fleet of approximately 300 commercial vehicles, including garbage collection, construction and maintenance light & heavy trucks.

The duration of this contract will be for a minimum of twelve (12) months and may be extended for a further 12 months subject to satisfactory performance by the contractor to a maximum of 3 years.

Council shall have the option to extend the contract giving two (2) months prior notice in writing to the contractor.

Council reserves the right to award all or part of the contract to one (1) tenderer or several tenderers.

The tenderer shall provide the following:

·       Stock availability as and when required, available 6 days per Week.

·       On-Time Delivery / Number of Deliveries per Day

·       One Stop Shop for all geniune or accredited heavy vehicle spare parts.

·       Vehicle Off the Road – Urgent Spares.

Any additional services offered not included above are to be stated and information provided.

Tenders must be submitted by hardcopy form, by printing the completed tender submission documents and placing in a sealed envelope and placed in the tender box located on the ground floor of Blacktown City Council Civic Centre, 62 Flushcombe Road, Blacktown.

All tenders shall be received before the closing time and date for tenders as indicated in the advertisement.

The submission of tenders by facsimile or email shall not be accepted by Council.
