WSROC / Quotation for Pest Management Services - Q-2018-058

Council (the Principal) is seeking Quotations from appropriately qualified and experienced pest management businesses, organisations or individuals to provide pest management services for a three year period in accordance with the terms and conditions of this RFQ

The scope of the proposed works shall consist of but not be limited to the following, general activities:

a) Eradication and control of insect pests through fumigation with approved insecticides suitable for areas of human habitation, as required and directed by Council.

b) Eradication and control of rodents through the setting and maintaining of approved rodent baits and traps.

c) Proactive termite inspection, eradication, prevention and certification while carrying out works in the LGA.

d) Other minor works not specifically identified but necessary for the effective completion of the specified tasks and procedures involved with pest management.

e) Keep adequate records pertinent to the contract and works.

f) Provide the names of each individual carrying out works in the Local Government Area.

g) Remain identifiable while working in the Local Government Area (vehicle signs, logos and uniforms).

h) Provide safe work method statements outlining the steps involved in the works, risks with a risk rating, safety precautions and residual risks rating.

i) Provide material safety data sheets for each material and substance used in carrying out the works.

j) Comply with reasonable instructions by Council staff located at each asset, in conjunction with the contract manager.

k) Frequent each asset location on a regular basis with an allowance to carry out works on a need-be basis as instructed by Council.

l) Comply with the asset list provided, outlining the asset use, location, address and frequency of servicing to take place.
