Tender Details

Removal of Hazardous Trees at Great Western Highway, Medlow Bath. 

 The project comprises the removal of 33 recognised hazardous trees being of various size, mostly large Radiata Pines, from a section alongside The Great Western Highway, Medlow Bath.

The trees to be removed run adjacent to the Rail Line which requires the work to be conducted during the next scheduled Rail Corridor shut down planned for Saturday 6th and Sunday 7th August 2011.  Rail Corp will require notification and the correct details of work to be undertaken and an RTA Road Occupancy Permit will be required prior to this work to be undertaken.

The selected trees to be removed will be chipped and the woodchip to be transported to 76 Ridgewell Road Blackheath (the site of the former Blackheath Council Tip) to be stockpiled for BMCC to use for remediation works. The stumps will be ground to below ground level and the site will be left clear and tidy free from debris in preparation for replanting.
