Tender Details
This tender is a Schedule of Rates contract, C9/2016 – Bush Regeneration & Revegetation Works for Blacktown City Council. There will be Rise and Fall in costs every 12 months. The contract will be for 1 year with 2 x 1 year optional extensions.
Bush regeneration and revegetation is required on council owned and managed property, including public reserves, council properties, car park verges and footways and medians. However, bushland on private property and non-council managed land is the responsibility of the land owner and does not form part of this contract.
The Works under this contract is divided into 3 separable parts and will include:
PART A. Bush Regeneration & Revegetation:
• bush regeneration,
• bush regeneration maintenance,
• pesticide application,
• installation of erosion control mechanisms,
• site preparation, mulching and planting of revegetation projects,
• mowing/slashing of weeds,
• weed debris, litter and “green” waste removal
• reporting
PART B. Collection of Flora and Fauna Data
PART C. Seed Collection
The PARTS are separable and tenderers may submit a tender for any of the Parts but must tender rates for all Core Pay Items in the PARTS being tendered. Council encourages tenderers to also include rates for the additional items.
Tenderers, if wishing to undertake large projects (generally with a value greater than $20,000),must also tender rates for all Additional Pay Items in PART A.
Council may award each separable PART to one or several tenderers.

Additional Details / Instructions
The approximate value of work carried out by bush regeneration and revegetation contractors over the last 2 years on PART A works was $1,500,000. However, this is not a guarantee of work under this contract. The figure is provided only to assist tenderers to assess fair and reasonable rates for the Works under this contract.
