Tender Details

Auburn City Council has submitted an application with the Department of Broadband, Communications and Digital Economy (DBCDE) for the Digital Local Government Program. This program consists improving the customer services and library services by providing video conferencing technologies between the public and council office staff. The video conferencing services can be performed with multiple members of the public or council staff at the same time.

This will allow Auburn City Council with the opportunity to enhance, and extend the current customer service delivery to all its businesses and residents through the introduction of video call and conference systems which will provide for more seamless interaction between Council departments and especially between these departments and the public, businesses, training institutions and the general public.

This program also consists of Video-Call / Booking Systems that will allow external and internal customers’ the ability to book the video conferencing in order to liaise with a council staff member at a nominated date and time.
