Tender Details

Building Assessment and Report - Katoomba Community Centre and Town Centre Arcade.

Building Assessment and Report - Katoomba Community Centre and Town Centre Arcade. The Civic Centre and Arcade (the complex) was constructed in the late 1970s and works were recently carried out to modify/upgrade the complex and address some inherent defects. Council has ongoing concerns regarding the quality and effectiveness of the works relating to the original construction (e.g. stormwater drainage) and the most recent modifications and upgrading. Council requires a report that identifies issues relating to quality of documentation, building contractor compliance with contract documentation, and a schedule of required remedial and improvement work  to ensure that the complex is suitable for the intended  use.
