This is a re-tender of the previous C5/2012 contract. Those companies that tendered for C5/2012 must re-tender for contract 23/2012. This contract is for the supply only of approximately 130 - 160 inverter type air cooled reverse cycle air conditioning units of various capacities and either wall mounted split system, ceiling cassette split system or ceiling suspended split system, being Minimum Energy Performance Standard (MEPS) registered in accordance with AS/NZS 3823.2 – 2011. The total number of units to be supplied is dependent upon the funds available for the supply and installation of the units .

Bank Stabilisation Works adjacent to Duck River Tributary and Bridge Installation
Council is calling for Tender responses from suitably qualified Contractors to construct the sand stone bank stabilization retaing wall on eighter side of the Duck River Tributary and Bridge Installation. The existing river bank abutment has been eroded due to the various storm events. Also the existing bridge is not in good order for its purpose. Therefore it is proposed to stabilize the banks and install a new longer and wider bridge. The proposed work involves: Removal of the existing bridge and relocating up stream to provide a temporary access Supply and construct the Sand stone retaining walls to the design details. Design and construct footings for the proposed bridge without removing existing bridge support. Install the bridge to the manufactures specifications. Note that the proposed bridge approximately 5.5 tonnes and has a live loading capacity of 15 tonnes. Bridge will be supplied by Council on site.

Landscaping Construction and Maintenance Selective Tender
This tender is for Contract No. 12 / 2012 – Landscape Construction and Maintenance for Blacktown City Council with the method of payment being Schedule of Rates, subject to Rise and Fall in costs. The works under the contract will generally include: · Construction of landscaping works anywhere within the Blacktown City Council area with the type and extent of the works varying for each project as allocated by Council. It is expected that contractors construct both smaller and larger landscaping works. · Maintenance of landscape areas constructed under this contract after the establishment period and certain existing landscaped areas constructed by others but not maintained under another contract, anywhere within the Blacktown City Council area with the type and extent of the works varying for each project as allocated by Council. It is expected contractors maintain both smaller and larger landscaped areas. · The works may be located within parks and reserves, on central medians of major roads, on roundabouts, along minor roads, at Council buildings or other public areas. · The works may be allocated at any time during the contract term as and when required. There will be no guarantee for the size, quantity or frequency of any works allocated to any contractor. Contractors will be expected to carry out all types and sizes of work under the contract. · Traffic Control will be required for works on or near roads.
