WSROC / SUPPLY, INSTALLATION & MAINTENANCE OF CARDIO FITNESS EQUIPMENT - C05/2011

 This tender is for Contract No. 05 – 2011 – supply, Installation & Maintenance of Cardio Fitness Equipment for Blacktown Leisure Centre Stanhope - Sydney with the method of payment being Schedule of Rates.

 

It is the intention to replace all cardio vascular fitness equipment with modern "state of the art" gymnasium equipment in the Leisure Centres’ Fitness Studio

This total provision is to include full over-life maintenance, a service agreement and finance options. Tenderers are requested to provide their optimum replacement period for their equipment, beit three years, four years or other.

The full scope of work in this tender request to be provided and included in tender submissions is;

• Supply of replacement equipment

• Removal and disposal of existing equipment

• Installation of replacement equipment

• Maintenance of equipment

• Staff training and commissioning of new equipment and set-ups

• Re launch of new gymnasium facilities.

As Council’s Leisure Centre is a highly active facility, tenderers must provide an acceptable and guaranteed delivery, installation and start-up program.

To assist tenderers, listings of required equipment is included as part of this tender specification.

There may be some changes to these listings, which will be by discussion with the successful tenderer.

The safety of Leisure Centre staff and patrons is of prime importance to Council and tenderers must provide information in their submission regarding:

• Safe Working diagrams

• Safety displays

• Physical guards on equipment

• Safe operating instructions to be clearly featured

• Other supplier safety initiatives

• Replacement of safety signed through life of equipment.

An essential element of this supply arrangement will be the on-going equipment maintenance, spare part provision and nominated and actual service provided.

Extended downtime of equipment due to failure, service or parts needs will not be tolerated.

The supply requirements under this supply contract will generally include:

(a) The supply of defined cardio fitness equipment requirements to Blacktown Leisure Centre Stanhope.

(b) The supply and installation of all related equipment for Supply and Installation of Cardio Fitness Equipment at Blacktown Leisure Centre Stanhope.

(c) The supply, installation and operational maintenance of cardio fitness equipment for Blacktown Leisure Centre Stanhope

(d) The support of Blacktown Leisure Centre Stanhope through a promotional/ sponsorship partnership for a National Key Account.

(e) The supplier takes all reasonable action necessary to ensure that Blacktown Leisure Centre Stanhopes OH&S policies and procedures are adhered to at all times.

(f) The supplier takes all reasonable action necessary to ensure that Blacktown Leisure Centre Stanhope’s onsite instructions for delivery and venue operations are adhered to at all times.

(g) The supplier offers operational lease payment terms on a 30 day account.
