Tender Details

It is a priority of the new Cumberland Council to prepare a high level Open Space and Recreation Strategy (OSRS) to:

Consolidate and enhance the planning and management of public open space and recreation facilities across an area that was previously managed by three jurisdictions, and
Prepare for increasing and changing recreation needs and demands as Cumberland’s population increases from 228,000 in 2017 to a forecast 297,000 in 2036 (Forecast.id).

Accordingly, Council is now seeking a suitable consultant to prepare the OSRS to ensure a strategic and value-driven approach to open space and recreation management and delivery.
