WSROC / Community Recycling Incentive Scheme - C23/2014

The Request for Tender is for the provision of a Community Recycling Incentive Scheme for a period of one (1) year with three (3), one (1) year options.

Council is seeking a website based program that would generate rewards to encourage and recognise residents who recycle. 

Tender submission should include information and costing on 2 different trial options:

·         Option 1 - One year trial with 25,000 households invited to participate with the option in year 2 to increase to all of the local government area.

·         Option 2 - One year trial with 103,000 households with the option in year 2 to continue with the all of local government area approach.

The Community Recycling Incentive Scheme should meet the following outcomes: 

* Provide effective community engagement

* Promote positive sustained community behaviour change including:

* Increased participation in the recycling service

* Increased recycling tonnage

* Decreased contamination levels

* Support local economic development

* Provide best value for money

* Maintain excellent standards of service.
