Tender Details

Yeaman Bridge, Katoomba - Bridge Barrier Renewal.

Located at Katoomba, approximately 100km west of Sydney, Yeaman Bridge is the main link between Katoomba CBD and the Great Western Highway. The bridge spans the Main West railway corridor (electrified), including the railway station platform, which is in use around the clock, and the adjacent section of Goldsmith Place with its access to Katoomba skate park. Yeaman Bridge carries two traffic lanes and a footway. There are traffic barrier railings on both the extreme edges of the bridge deck, but these barriers are not compliant with contemporary codes. The project comprises the demolition, dismantling and removal of existing concrete kerbs and steel railings on the bridge and the fabrication, supply and construction of new reinforced concrete kerbs and barrier railings for the full extent of the bridge and for sections of the approach roads and footpaths.
