Tender Details

The Design, Documentation and Development Application for the Lawson Community Hall (Ex Mechanics Institute) Building and Property

Design, specifications, survey levels and engineering detail for the construction of the Portico, and upgrade of the external and internal of the Community Hall building and facilities, car-parking, lighting, access ramp, kitchen and toilet upgrade. Utilizing of salvaged materials stored at Council is a necessary part of the project.  Consultation with Heritage Architect and other stakeholders is required.

Presentation of the final design 3D drawings and coloured Architect impressions to Blue Mountains City Council (BMCC) for final approval before construction drawings and details commence.

Before tender documents are established the design, material, and colour samples are to be supplied for approval by BMCC and exhibited at the Lawson Community Centre for Tenderers to inspect. Open days for this purpose to be planned well in advance and the Architect team including all Consultants to be available for Contractors questionnaire for inclusions and to comply with the tender.

Conditions for Participation

The Conditions for Participation are mandatory requirements, which describe minimum standards that suppliers must meet for their submissions to be considered. If Quoters do not meet the Conditions of Participation, they will be excluded from the quote evaluation process.

The Quoter must be an acceptable legal entity. It is Council’s policy not to trade with any organisation that does not hold a registered ABN;

The Quoter and subcontractors must not be bankrupt or insolvent;

The Quoter shall declare and provide details of any occurrence, within 5 years prior to submitting a Quote, where the Quoter has been found guilty of breaching any Act or Regulation.

The Quoter must have the minimum level of insurance cover specified in this RFQ; and

All Quoters must comply with the New South Wales Government Code of Procurement.
