Urban Design Study, Land Use Review and Options Plan - Q21-16

Bankstown City Council (Council) wishes to engage an appropriately qualified and experienced consultant team including specialist open space or recreation planners to prepare an Urban Design Study, Land Use Review and Options Plan (the Study) for The Crest of Bankstown and associated reserves and adjacent land.

The successful consultant team will be required to liaise with the architects of the velodrome who will be undertaking a separate feasibility study investigating adaptive reuse options for the velodrome for future uses.

The objectives of the Study are to:-

•           Prepare a project consultation plan (provided as part of quotation submission)

•           Prepare two concept land use option plans for consultation purposes and

•           Prepare the preferred draft land use option plan which gives a clear vision for the area in terms of future built form and land uses, and relationship with surrounding land uses.

Open Tenders - An invitation to tender by public advertisement with no restriction placed on who may tender. Tenderers will normally be required to demonstrate in their tender that they have the necessary skills, resources, experience, financial capacity, and in some cases licences, accreditations, etc., to fulfil the tender requirements.

Compulsory briefing and site inspection will be held at The Crest of Bankstown Athletics Centre McClean Street, Bass Hill on Friday 20 November 2015 at 10am.

Council will not consider a Tender lodged by a Tenderer who fails to sign the attendance sheet at this briefing, or fails to ensure that a representative of the Tenderer signs the attendance sheet on its behalf.
