The Rail Infrastructure Upgrade (RIU) for Electrical Work (EW) for the More Trains, More Services program includes:

Signalling upgrade including design, modification, installation, testing and commissioning, and decommissioning activities
Station lighting upgrade for selected stations statewide
Platform extensions for selected stations statewide
Design and installation of Stations and Stabling yard Car Markers
Changes to existing infrastructure at Stabling yards to allow for refuelling, provisioning, and other access infrastructure (including Elevated Safe Access Platforms [ESAPs])
Electrical upgrade including the upgrade of existing distribution boards to sustain the required work loads
