The Contract Value will not be disclosed on the contract register for the following reasons: • The contract value is commercial in confidence; and • There is an overriding public interest against disclosure of the contract value because the information could reasonably be expected to: • undermine the competitive neutrality in connection with the functions of Destination NSW as an agency; and • diminish the competitive commercial value offered to Destination NSW; and • prejudice the contractor’s legitimate business, commercial, professional and financial interests by disclosing the value. In addition, there is an overriding public interest against disclosure of this information in accordance with section 32 of the GIPA Act.
