Tender Details

The Centennial Park and Moore Park Trust (CPMPT) is requesting proposals to lease the Superintendents Residence for commercial uses, professional services, health, community or educational uses.

The historically significant Superintendents Residence is nestled by the Paddington Gates entrance of Centennial Park. This single storey sandstone building offers immaculate features and a rare lease opportunity.

Centennial Park is one of Sydney’s most historic parklands, dating back more than 130 years. It offers hectares of greenery with open space including gardens, wetlands, sports fields and wide avenues with cycle and horse-riding tracks, children’s playgrounds and places to eat, available to local, national and international visitors and tourists for recreation, learning and leisure.

The successful respondent will have experience in operation of similar facilities and services, evidence of sustainable business practices and the ability to work collaboratively with CPMPT as part of existing park operations.

Any resulting commercial agreement will be in the form of a lease.

RFT Type

Request for Proposals - An invitation for expressions of interest / seeking preliminary proposals. In many cases these may be used as a basis for shortlisting tenderers, along with other criteria such as expertise and experience. Prospective tenderers are initially evaluated for their proposal against the relevant selection criteria. A number of those who best meet the criteria are invited to tender. For complex or some other types of procurement, where the product or service outcomes are highly dependent on the content of the proposals received from Tenderers, the outcome may be negotiated.
