Description of the required services: Create NSW seeks to engage a suitably qualified commercial theatre operator to lease and operate Sydney’s Theatre Royal. The Theatre Royal was designed by Harry Seidler and was constructed in the 1970s as a replacement for the old theatre of the same name that was demolished when the MLC Centre was built. It is located on King Street in Sydney’s CBD, and is bound by Pitt Street Mall and Castlereagh Streets. Please see the Expression of Interest for full details.
Procurement method: Open Expression of Interest then an RFT to an adequate number of respondents.
Timeframe for delivery of services: The contract is proposed to start in the second half of 2019.
