More Trains More Services (MTMS) Stage 2 Incentivised Delivery Partner - Early Notification of Potential Upcoming MTMS EOI

The More Trains, More Services Stage 2 Incentivised Delivery Partner will deliver infrastructure in support of service improvements on the heavy rail network in particular along the T4 Illawarra, T8 Airport and South Coast lines.

The program includes projects including, but not limited to, the following:

• Central Sydney Capacity Upgrade;
• Erskineville Crossover;
• Hurstville Crossover
• Airport Tunnel Upgrade;
• Mascot Station Upgrade;
• Hurstville Station Upgrade;
• Mortdale Maintenance Centre Upgrade;
• T4 Stabling & Waterfall Infrastructure Upgrade;
• Power Upgrades;
• T4 and South Coast Station Upgrades;
• Asset Rationalisation Asset Resilience, Transport Integration and Sustainability.

This is an Early Notification only. Expression of Interest documents are not currently available. Formal notification will occur if and when the Expression of Interest is published on the NSW eTender platform currently anticipated for late January 2019.

Transport for NSW reminds potential Tenderers that this is an ‘expected’ rather than ‘actual’ opportunity.  TfNSW reserve the right to:

a) not progress further in relation to procurement of MTMS Stage 2 scope; or

b) proceed in whole or in part with any aspect of the forecast MTMS Stage 2 scope.

This early notification should not be interpreted to be confirmation that an actual procurement activity and/or EOI will occur for MTMS Stage 2.

Subject to signing of a Confidentiality Deed Poll, potential tenderers may access the TfNSW More Trains More Services Data Room which contains industry briefing material, high level scope and Authorised Engineering Organisation (AEO) authorisation requirements.

Access to the TfNSW More Trains More Services Data Room is at the sole discretion of TfNSW and access will only be provided to potential tenderers.

Access to the data room may be limited to design and/or construction companies with annual revenue above $20 million.

This opportunity may be subject to one or more of the following international procurement agreements which contain provisions regarding government procurement:
