Tender Details

The Dust Diseases Care Mobile Lung Screening Clinic (Mobile Clinic) is a mobile respiratory testing service that complements an onsite clinic located in Sydney's Central Business District. This Mobile Clinic, featuring a double-axle trailer with airbag suspension and equipped with an x-ray room and advanced lung function testing apparatus, enabling medical professionals to conduct examinations at worksites or premises in both regional and metropolitan areas. 

The Mobile Clinic is an initiative by the Dust Diseases Care (DDC) to ensure the health and safety of workers and the broader community, providing tailored care and support to individuals affected by occupational dust diseases. Health monitoring services to employees exposed to asbestos, respirable crystalline silica and other hazardous dusts, allows icare to assist New South Wales employers in adhering to the Work Health and Safety Regulation 2017.

The RFP will be for 1 x Mobile Clinic with the option to build a second one. 

The provider will also deliver ongoing mechanical maintenance service for the Mobile Clinic for up to 10 years post build.

icare will hold a virtual Market Briefing session on the 14th of August 2023 at 2pm. icare will also hold an in-person on-site inspection of the current Mobile Clinic in Londonderry on the 18th of August 2023. Both are non-mandatory. Please see pages 2 and 3 of Part A for further information. 

Services proposed as an Alternative Proposal (Part D2) may only be considered if submitted with a compliant Proposal.
