Expressions of Interest (EOI) are invited from organisations or consortia wishing to be invited to submit a proposal to lease one or several parcels of Target Land for the development, construction and operation of renewable energy infrastructure projects.
Target Land is to be used to support the NSW Government’s Renewable Energy Infrastructure Investment program to:
• Stimulating infrastructure projects that help reduce NSW carbon emissions from the energy sector.
• Generate revenue in partnership with communities, businesses and industry to develop renewable energy and emissions reduction projects.
• Help reduce energy costs for NSW Government, consumers and businesses.
• Support diversification of energy generation, transmission and distribution infrastructure to secure ongoing, reliable, resilient, safe and secure energy supply for NSW consumers and businesses.
• Promote jobs growth, skills development and new industries in regional NSW.
• Contribute to cost-effective renewable energy supply for Whole-of-Government electricity procurement for NSW Government Agencies.
