Sydney Water operates most of its water and water resource recovery treatment plants using Sydney Water’s Resource Recovery and Water Supply and Production (WSP) Groups. Each treatment plant has a Plant Production team with responsibility for operating the plant efficiently and within licence requirements. Operational Technology is a specialist team within Sydney Water that is responsible for all SCADA services at all of the Sydney Water managed treatment plants. This includes total life cycle management of the treatment plant SCADA systems, including 24 x 7 support and maintenance, all modifications to the SCADA systems, asset management, life cycle planning, upgrades and enhancements to the SCADA systems. Operational Technology also owns and maintains all Instrumentation & Control (I&C) Standards and Treatment Plant SCADA Standards. The purpose of this expression of interest (EOI) followed by request for tender (RFT) is to identify suppliers to fully support, maintain, enhance and upgrade the SCADA Systems (HMI, PLC, network and associated electrical equipment) at Sydney Water‘s treatment plants in collaboration with Operational technology team to optimise the availability, reliability, performance and efficiency of the treatment plants. These services are to be delivered collaboratively with Supplier personnel and Sydney Water personnel working together. Supplier's will be evaluated based on:

- Digital Capabilities
- Financial Assessment
- Sydney Water's key minimum pre-qualification requirements on Quality and Safety
