Tender Details

Vivid Light transforms Sydney’s Central Business District into a kaleidoscopic wonderland, invigorating the city with awe-inspiring art installations, 3D light projections, light sculptures and 3D-mapped building projections creating the accessible and sustainable ‘Light Walk. and presenting Sydney’s iconic buildings and foreshore precincts in a whole new dimension. In 2023, more than 60 light installations and projections were assembled across the Vivid Sydney Light Walk, stretching throughout The Rocks, Circular Quay, Walsh Bay, Barangaroo, The Goods Line, Sydney Opera House and Darling Harbour.

In 2024, the spectacular illumination of Sydney’s CBD skyline and Sydney Harbour Bridge will complement the light sculptures and installations, ‘Projection Icons’ (Museum of Contemporary Art, Customs House, ASN Clocktower, SHB Pylons and Cadmans Cottage) and the lighting of the Sydney Opera House Sails.

The Vivid Sydney footprint will consist of an approximate 8-kilometre continuous light walk stretching from Circular Quay to Haymarket following the shoreline through Walsh Bay, Barangaroo, Kings Street Wharf, Darling Harbour and the Goods Line. The Vivid Light walk in 2023 was a proven success by giving patrons easy access to the four major transport hubs within the Sydney CBD.

Destination NSW is seeking an itemised quotation along with a rate card for the provision of the services outlined in this RFT document for a three-year term.
