Tender Details

NSW Public Works and Hunter New England Local Health District are looking for proposal requests from industry for suppliers interested in developing an Onsite Waste Treatment Solution for Operation at various Hospital Sites across NSW.

This initial request for proposals is being undertaken with look to short list tenderers for second part of a selective tendering process to be undertaken after this initial stage of approach to industry.

Request for Proposals - An invitation for expressions of interest / seeking preliminary proposals. In many cases these may be used as a basis for shortlisting tenderers, along with other criteria such as expertise and experience. Prospective tenderers are initially evaluated for their proposal against the relevant selection criteria. A number of those who best meet the criteria are invited to tender. For complex or some other types of procurement, where the product or service outcomes are highly dependent on the content of the proposals received from Tenderers, the outcome may be negotiated.

During the lodgement process all submitted responses received successfully are encrypted by the system for security and stored securely in the website “electronic tender box”. All responses that are received can only be accessed un-encrypted and opened after the RFT has officially closed. This is done though a controlled Tender Opening process managed by the Agency’s Tender Opening Committee.
