The Works:

Alterations and Additions incorporate the following: STAGE 1:

Erection of external hoarding

Construction and commissioning of new basement electrical switch room.

Demolition of external walls and canopies facing the Kildare Road forecourt.

Erection of internal weatherproof and sound rated hording to separate the building site from the occupied areas within the building and the external disabled access ramp.

Construction of courtroom 3, the foyer and ancillary spaces including the new internal stairs and disabled access ramp from the foyerto the general office public area.

Construction of records store and car park disabled access ramp.

Construction of new Main Electrical Switch Room in the existing basement, provision of new consumer mains from the substation, reconnection and replacement of sub – mains.

Relocation of general office and sheriff’s office into the new courtroom and foyer for the duration of the general office and staff area fitout

STAGE 2:

Construction of new offices and public area for the Chamber Magistrate and Clerk of Court including the new roof top plant area. Demolition and refurbishment of existing office area and staff toilets. Relocation of staff back into the furbished areas.

Fitout of new court room and completion of new foyer.

Fitout of back foyer area, call over court and new ensuite bathrooms in Magistrate Rooms 1 and 2.

Fitout of existing remote witness room as new female public toilet.
