Tender Details

New South Wales (NSW) State Conracts Control Board (SCCB), as the Principal, is establishing a contract for the supply of international airfare arrangements.
This contract will also be available to the following Australian Procurement and Construction Council (APCC) Jusirdictions; South Australia (SA), Western Australia (WA), Northern Territory (NT), Queensland (QLD), and NSW)

Supply of international airline travel is to be for the period 1 December 2007 to 30 November 2009.
The deliverable that may be able to be procured through a contract (proposed to be entered into as a result of this procurement process) is to be for Whole of Government use.

The NSW State Contracts Control Board establishes and manages contracts that meet agency needs and maximaise savings to government. The Australian Procurement and Construction Council Inc (APCC) is the peak council of government departments responsible for procurement, construction and asset management policy for the Australian, State and Territory governments.

Whilst NSW and QLD will mandate the use of this contract, WA, SA and NT will access this contract only when lowest logical fare of the day is available. Airlines will need to work with NSW Travel Management Company, Carlson Wagonlit.
It is the objective of this tender to provide maximum value to the communities of each jurisdiction. To achieve this we are seeking a safe means of travel through negotiated international air route deals with specific airlines.

Airlines that do not have full coverage are encouraged to tender for all routes and/or part routes either as a sole carrier or code share carrier. Whilst opportunity for leveraging with fewer airlines is being explored, the evaluation process will objectively identify best value, it is therefore highly probalble that singular routes will be selected in isolation.
